what do i have in common with these people??

I'm a copycat. I was reading a fun post by http://annyslife.blogspot.com/ and I had to copy her. She had a picture of herself with celebrities that share similarities with her. I tried this with numerous photos and I repeatedly got Jada Pinkett Smith and Meryl Streep as a match. Obviously when you see the pictures we don't look alike, but rather have similarities which with Meryl would be a wide face! and with Jada? teeth? In any event I am 1/2 azn and the majority of my matches are azn. I even included the men match for fun. (cause i like clark!, and i never heard of the other guy) So, thanks anny for the fun, I spent an hour messing around with pictures, I even did a group of 4 of us and we got matches for all the faces. The hour spent doing this was much more fun than the laundry i had piled up and the pages of homework i had . peace out!

So the latest craze in hwood is leaving a few buttons open on your shirt and showing your chest. Bon Jovi? Oh yah! Bono? not bad. Simon? NO! and David? well I'm to busy looking at his skintight facelift....

So R U gay?

So, if you are an E.R fan T.R Night has announced he is gay. I never even thought that? Did you? In other gay news Matthew & Lance are announcing they are not gay. I never even thought that either, did you? My friend Lana says if a couple looks alike while they are dating they will likely marry. She calls it the brother/sister thing. I don't know if there is any truth to that but I will say JLO and Mark Anthony look alike in this picture and really MA doesn't look very good. And I didn't really think he is all that attractive to begin with, but looking at this picture the dude must wear a a fair amount of makeup before he goes out to perform. Oh and I'm announcing I am not gay!

countdown

I can't believe it, just about 12 days or so till i graduate from esthetician school. I will have completed 600 hours of the most fun I have ever had learning something. Even the chemistry, anatomy and electricity were interesting. I currently have a steady clientele that come for facials and facial treatments. Yikes, I am going to have withdrawals when I have to start over and get a new clientele. I love doing the chemical peels, they give instant results and you walk out with glowing skin. (I have already personally rec'd 5 :) I think I might be addicted. I went and bought some Bobby Brown foundation and some Chanel foundation, it was perfect. Then I decided to have a peel and guess what? My makeup no longer matches, since a layer of "dead" skin was removed I am left with fresh new skin (which happens to be lighter in color!!!) So, I guess I will be returning the makeup for a new colour.

kitchen remodel comin' along

Slowly the kitchen remodel is coming along. I'll have to get some "before" pics so that you can see the difference . Having the new kitchen makes me want to cook & bake! The kitchen is tiny & I can squeeze 4 comfortably and 6 xtra cozy. Non the less I love my new kitchen :) And don't let the tidy kitchen fool anyone, I am a pack rat and the rest of the house shows it!

Well, my facination continues. George & Julia. What more needs to be said? 2 lovely looking people! Nicole Kidman, one word, Elegance. Mark Wahlberg, one word HOT. Matthew is well...Matthew. Again! what is with Tom and another black sweater? man boobies i say. Is it me or is Tom starting to look dumpy?

Triskadekaphobia

Triskadekaphobia: the fear of the number 13! Well, as far as Friday the 13th's go, mine was uneventful. Esthetican school was awesome, we are in the chemisty chapter so we had a instuctor come in and we made handmade, homeade soap using essential oils, (peppermint & geranium) oatmeal, (for exfoliating purposes) geranium petals, and rose petals and olive oil, grapeseed oil and almond oil and vitamin E. They turned out absolutely delightful! Then we hoped into 3 cars and did an In n Out Burger run. GAWD that was sooooooo good. Well, back to the 13th, I am selective when I come to superstitions. I will not drive my car past a black cat crossing the street, no joke, I won't. I always put my fingers on the window and make a wish when driving over train tracks! My first marriage was on October 13th which eventually led to anniversary's on Friday the 13th (which eventually ended in divorce??!!) hmmmm. I guess its all about the way you look at things & life. One sports team is gonna loose and one is gonna win. Someone is gonna win in Vegas and someone is gonna loose, someone is going to die and someone born, someone might get in a car accident and someone win the lotto. So the 13th came and went just like all the other days of the year. Which by the way Halloween is just around the corner.... and then my favorite Thanksgiving (its all about the food) and Christmas and New Years and yikes its 2007!! Carry on :)

I'm back on the hollywood kick!! Wow, MaryKate & Ashley are all grown up! I watched them when they first came on Full House with hot Uncle Jesse. Now my daughter watches the same episodes I did!! Ahem... two posts back to back with "boobies"!!! At least these boobies are on women!

My Entourage Story

I got my sweats on and my favorite beat up "beater"on . Brewed my best coffee, cut a GINORMOUS piece of chocolate pie and plopped down in my chair to watch the last episode of Entourage. The cliff hanger, the season finale, the episode that will make you come back next season. I tivoed it. (as by now you know i am in school all day) anyway, the show starts and the guys look great. Their lips are moving and I can't hear them, so I turn up the volume. louder, Louder, LOUDER..... however absoluely no sound is coming out. R U FRIGGIN'' JOKING ME RIGHT NOW? Apparently the show is tivoed but there is no sound. OMG I stare at the tv and INHALE my pie. I suppose I will just have to wait for it to replay before the season starts up again........

Studio 60 is off to a fantastic start. I never thought I could see Matthew Perry as anything but a "friend" but he is perfectly cast. Amanda Peet's character is smart, attractive and clever. Nice to see a woman portrayed that way! Timothy Busey (come on 30' Something fans) DL Hughley, and for the life of me cannot remember the guy from West Wing (married in real life to Malcom in the Middle's Jane Kazmark) Anyway, I already know from the pilot I'm gonna dig this show. It is one you gotta check out.

I'm not a beauty school drop out!

Well, I started esthetician school at the end of June. I currently have about 347 hours. I need 600 hours to graduate so I am over half way there.
I attend apprx 40 hrs a week. Tues thru Sat. I LOVE IT! All day we learn about skincare, chemical peels, waxing and all the latest products and techniques in the never ending quest for young looking skin and wrinkle free skin. Women (& Men) actually pay for these services.!!! In return I get to do something I truly love. Personally, I have already had 3 chemical peels and the results are fantastic. We practiced so many facials on each other we actually got tired of receiving them! There are six of us in the class and we all agree this has been a new friend, bonding, learning experience. We even choose to get together for dinner and study groups on our days off. Go figure at age 43 I would adore going back to school and making new friends and making people look & feel better! So, drink your water, eat blueberries, strawberries, cantalope and cut out sugar, coffee and flour!! Oh, and get your facials regularly ;)

Officially Autumn

Ok, not sure what the official calender date for autumn is.... But I was going thru the *Bucks drive thru and saw this sign. If this doesn't say Fall, I don't know what does!!! hmmmm as soon as I see the peppermint mocha then I'll know its the Christmas season. I can actually tell what time of year it is by *Bucks. And you thought you can only get coffee and pastries there!!

Going back to my 6/22 post. This is I don't get it two. Kid Rock looks dirty people. UNKEPT dirty (well we know he is nasty dirty but thats not our business!!! unless they realease it on tape) I personally think Pamela is beautiful and in case you don't know anything about her she is very smart & clever in business. Intitally when you are interested in someone you haven't met its because you are physically attracted to them. There are a multitude of reasons after that inital attraction but visual is all we have when we don't know someone . I can only figure Pam likes the Bad Boys and Heather likes the Funny Boys. And Kid & David like gorgeous, sexy blonds.

The 4. Three are married, two are remarried, one is single. Two are 44, one is 43 and one is 39. Three are born in February, two are born on the same day 4 years apart Feb 17 (same as Michael Jordan & Paris Hilton) one in May .One smokes, one quit, 2 occasionally induldge in a cigar. Three are Democrat and one is Republican. Two have college education, two do not. One owns a hair salon, one is a stay at home Mom, one is a Career girl on the road calling on hospitals, one is going to Esthetician school. One goes to Catholic church, one to Presbetarian, two do not attend church, but both believe in a higher power. Three appreciate the Dalai Lama. One has seen him in person.
