it can't be cupcakes & posh spice all the time

those of you that 'know' me know that i much prefer to blog lighthearted nonsense than 'real' issues. but every so often...

i took this right off the governor's official site:

March 7, 2008 - Governor Spitzer in New York City announcing $5 million in grant funding for small businesses throughout Lower Manhattan with Speaker Sheldon Silver (far left), Councilman Alan Gerson (left), Congressman Jerrold Nadler (right) and Community Board 1 Chair Julie....

so i wonder if any of this funding went for funding the business of prostitution?? (*wink wink*)

any extra marital sex is really between the governor & his wife. breaking the law and being a hypocrite about it is between the governor and the people. plain and simple he broke the law. he is supposed to be for the people, an example for the people, not someone who thinks he can get away with breaking the law simply because of his position.

he is only remorseful because he got caught.

for some real sh*t read ...http://blacktygrrrr.wordpress.com/ & http://www.thinkingfool.com/

gov money spent on "personal" sides are between the ppl and the government - but seriously, it's just a matter of getting caught, how many other ppl of power do you think abuse their position but just don't get caught.
