the sun has been teasing!! just a taste of the sun and then haha it rains! i am looking out the window and it's bright and blue skies with white puffy clouds. i can be hopeful that spring is really gonna stay this time!
with the rain all day yesterday my directv went out. but not to worry i rebooted and all was well. UNITL i went to watch 24 last nite. WHAT??? all the stations returned except FOX. gggrrrrr direct TV could not fix it over the phone, i rebooted numerous times. so now my problem is going to "technical engineering" i don't care where it goes, just make sure i get FOX back because GLEE is on tonite!!!!!

i've been facebooking alot. the thing is everyone "knows" me on fb. its like real friends, and friends of friends etc.. but here! well, i think i have more freedom to write and not worry.
the husband and i of 6 years split up. i am ever so sad, and my heart hurts. the husband moved out 4 months ago.
the thing is, he wants children of his own and his desire has caused him torment. we have my daughters 18 &15 but he really wanted one of his own and as time has gone on...well so has my age and at 46 i am not willing to have another baby.
the first month was ok, i was feeling good and even wished him the best. i want him to be happy and i will never have to know the want or need or deisre to have a child because i have 2. the second month i started to be sad. the third month i started to get pissed!! how could he leave? and still love me? and how could his love of someting he 'wants" be stronger than his love for me?

all these things spin in my head.

so its a new year which means alot of us are ready to face the new year and make
'08 the best. losing weight and exercising seem to be at the top of many lists. weight watchers, jenny craig, golds gym, curves... are all offering specials for the new year. weight loss is a billion dollar industry, and ya know it comes down to just 2 words. STOP EATING!!! the thing is i can't! i know what i need to do, and i know what i need to cut out , but i just love food, and sugar, and cupcakes! and i love to bake and eat what i bake. and exercise??? blahhhh. now the sissie teaches jazzercise and is in tip top shape and she has explained to me that at *ahem* my age i really need to exercise for my bones and body and mind. so acali has decided i will cut back on sugar,add more veggies and fruit and less flour and i'm not going all crazy on the exercise but i will be working out 3 days a week to start. i'm not gonna call it a new year resolution, just getting healthy!

peppermint=december

December is the time of year that brings out 2 of my favorites! For years I have been getting the peppermint mocha and it never occured to me I could request it with a pump less of peppermint and a pump less of mocha! DUH. I was with my friend Barb and she ordered it with the 2 pumps (instead of 3) omgoodness now the drink is perfected for me! I saw the TJ pepp. cookies on Ebay for $9.95 wowzer weezers I didn't realize that I suppose not everyone has a TJ's and can access these wonderful cookies anytime.
When I make my chocolate double layer cake I crunch some up and put in the middle of the cake on top of the choc frosting. YUM MAY!
